The Lithuanian government announced the expulsion of two Russian diplomats, who were ordered to leave the country within seven days. The corresponding note was handed to the Russian ambassador to Lithuania Alexey Isakov, who was summoned to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry.
According to RIA Novosti, the Latvian Foreign Minister also announced that Riga would send the Russian diplomat out - also in solidarity with the Czech Republic. The same decision was made by the Estonian authorities.
Earlier, Slovakia announced the expulsion of three Russian diplomats as a sign of solidarity with the Czech Republic.
It's worth reminding that after 18 Russian diplomats were expelled from the Czech Republic, 20 of their Czech colleagues returned from Moscow to the Czech Republic. Only five diplomats remained at the Czech Embassy in the Russian Federation, which paralyzed a significant amount of his work. By the end of April, another 60 employees of the Russian embassy are to leave the Czech Republic.
