The Investigative Committee for Moscow opened a criminal case against the head of the investigative department of the Moscow OMVD* for the Solntsevo district, his deputy and the district department. All three are suspected of taking a bribe - they are detained while transferring money.

Investigators found out that in April 2021 the defendants intended to receive a bribe from the victim in the amount of 12 million rubles.

"For the indicated amount, the defendants promised to take certain procedural decisions within the framework of their official powers", - said in the capital's Investigative Committee.

It was possible to establish and suppress the actions of the criminal group jointly by the FSB, the TFR and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The transfer of funds took place as part of operational measures, during which the accomplices were detained", - the investigators specified.

Necessary investigative actions are being carried out with the detainees. Soon they will be charged and a measure of restraint will be chosen.

The investigation of the criminal case continues.

It's worth reminding that the head of the Tyumen traffic police was arrested for bribery.
