Belgian artist and social worker Alain Verscueren wears a "portable oasis" instead of a mask before going outside, media reported.

The Belgian created this device as an environmentally friendly alternative to the mask, the plants growing in this portable greenhouse purify and flavor the air he breathes:

“An oasis is a place of calmness, tranquility, coolness and well-being. Medicinal plants protect against outside harm. It's as if I could defend myself in an oasis in the middle of the desert..."

Alain has already become a city landmark, but Russian bloggers have differently appreciated his invention.

Some joke: "Hope that now everyone won't be forced to wear a greenhouse...", while others, and most of them, consider the Belgian crazy: "It's inconvenient to run away from the orderlies..."
