16% of employees believe that working in the office is more efficient than at home, while more than half of Russians would like to switch to the so-called hybrid mode of work in order to choose independently whether to work from home or from the office.

According to the results of a study by Otkritie Bank, which leads RIA Novosti, 51% of respondents would choose a hybrid mode of operation. Most often, this answer was given by respondents from the Southern Federal District, and less often - from the Far East and residents of the North Caucasus.

18% of the respondents indicated that the format of their work does not allow working at home. 16% of citizens are sure that it is more efficient to work directly in the office of the organization. Basically, the respondents of the Moscow region think so, and the representatives of the Southern Federal District and the Urals share this opinion least of all. On the contrary, 14% of respondents are sure that they are more productive at home.

49% of survey participants believe that in the future the teleworking format will become more popular, but it will not be possible to implement it everywhere. Almost 33% are sure that remote control will win over offices thanks to the development of video communication technologies. 14% supported the victory of the office format, because, in their opinion, people need live communication with colleagues.

Only 4% of respondents indicated that after the coronavirus pandemic is over, there will be a full return to the dock-like principles of organizing work.

At the same time, 50% of respondents supported the idea of a four-day work schedule instead of five days, but while maintaining the same level of payment. 18% of respondents supported the idea unconditionally. 12% are sure that it is not worth changing the current schedule. 6% even stated that even now they have the opportunity to work when they want, regardless of the generally accepted working week.

By the way, previous surveys showed that during the pandemic, Russians changed jobs less often, fearing losing them after the transition. At the same time, according to Maria Ignatova, head of the research and analytical projects service at hh.ru, every second working Russian performed tasks "automatically, every fourth thought about changing jobs or professions".

In the capital, for example, the number of vacancies with remote work has grown by a third since December 2020. The most popular jobs in the labor market in 2021 were professions from the service sector. More than 58 thousand vacancies are currently open in this category.
