As reported by the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for the Omsk region, the 41-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Polo, moving along Karl Marx Avenue, when turning left collided with a BMW moving in the opposite direction. The man who was driving the Volkswagen died on the spot. A 35-year-old driver of another foreign car was hospitalized with injuries.

Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the accident. At the same time, a video was published from a surveillance camera that recorded the moment of the collision of the car. Social network users noticed that the BMW driver exceeded the speed limit. Also on the Web, disputes have flared up over who is guilty of the accident - according to the rules, the Volkswagen driver had to let the BMW pass, but that, in turn, drove very fast. At a lower speed, most likely, a fatal outcome could have been avoided.
