Israel resumes missile strikes on military targets in the Gaza Strip

"During the last hours, the Israel Defense Forces have hit a significant number of significant terrorist targets and terrorists throughout the Gaza Strip. The strikes are currently ongoing", the Israeli army reported on Twitter.

The rocket fire began after heightened tensions in East Jerusalem, where Israeli police clashed with Palestinians for several days.
