Investigators found that in January of this year, a 42-year-old previously convicted local resident edited a video calling for the killing of Russian law enforcement officials. He posted this appeal on his page in TikTok, and thus urged users to publicly engage in extremist activities. Now the defendant faces up to five years in prison.
The case was initiated based on the materials of the check of the regional prosecutor's office. The Krasnoarmeyskiy District Court will consider it.
Earlier the defendant had already been convicted of intentionally causing harm to health, inflicting beatings and destroying someone else's property.
It's worth reminding that last month an Internet user from Penza was fined for a video on TikTok. He, wearing a police uniform, used obscene language on the video, claiming that he was a precinct.
