The American IT giant Google has filed a lawsuit, in which Roskomnadzor is the defendant. This is the first lawsuit filed by the corporation against the Russian authorities, previously Google acted only as a defendant or as a third party.

As indicates "Kommersant», Google is trying to challenge the decision of the Russian authorities about blocking 12 matches on video, which was posted on YouTube - hosting, owned by the company.

"Roskomnadzor, on the basis of the requirements of the Prosecutor General's Office, sent a notice to the Google administration about restricting access to materials with appeals, including to minors, to participate in unauthorized rallies in January 2021", - Roskomnadzor replied.

It's worth reminding that in early May, Roskomnadzor demanded that the management of Google LLC, as soon as possible, remove the restriction on access to the Heroes Street application owned by the Saratov State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and also explain the reason for blocking the service.

Earlier, in April, the court satisfied Tsargrad's claim against Google, finding the blocking of the channel and disconnecting it from monetization unlawful.
