Taking into account the fact that vaccination has been going on for almost six months, this is just a little.
It is easy to calculate that at such a rate, vaccination will drag on for years, which may make it meaningless - after all, the creators of vaccines say that they will not work until the end of the life of the vaccinated, and it is possible that in a year or two they will have to be vaccinated again. Moreover, in Israel, the USA, Great Britain and many other countries, including, for example, even Mongolia, the rates of vaccination are several times higher than in Russia.
Residents of the capital are in no hurry to get vaccinated against coronavirus. Vaccination rates in Moscow are lower than in any other European city, despite the fact that Moscow was the first in the world to announce the start of vaccination, said Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. At the same time, the regions of Russia do not plan to announce a mandatory vaccination campaign against coronavirus.
Vladimir Gushchin emphasized that in countries where the proportion of those vaccinated against coronavirus exceeds 50%, the number of new infections and deaths is markedly reduced. "This means that the general program of mass immunization is really working and further work is necessary in order to reduce both morbidity and mortality", - he quotes the words of the head of the RBC laboratory. It should be noted that it is in the center named after N.F. Gamaleya, where the very first and most famous Russian vaccine against coronavirus "Sputnik V" was created, which today is successfully used in dozens of countries around the world, and in many of them it is already produced independently.
