Such data follow from a study conducted by the Romir holding and the international consulting company The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the results of which are provided by Kommersant.
According to the survey, 22% of Russians are optimistic about the forecasts of the economic situation in the country. Analysts note that while in 2020 6% of citizens said that the situation could not get worse, now 10% say that the country is only waiting for improvement in the economic sector. Moreover, most often, improvements in economic indicators are made by citizens aged 25-34 - 15%, and less often - 24 years (8%).
In 2020, 21% of respondents did not expect any changes in the situation with the economy, whereas now there are 43%. 34% of Russians expect the situation to deteriorate; in the past, "pandemic" year, the figure was 64%.
In January of this year, Russians expressed their opinion about the connection between protests and the economy in the country.
