"You should get vaccinated even if you have had COVID-19 before. People who recover from COVID-19 develop natural immunity to the virus, but it is not known for certain how long it lasts or how well protected you are. Vaccines provide more reliable protection", - RIA Novosti leads the message of the department.
Rospotrebnadzor specialists recommend getting vaccinated a few months after the illness. The department recalled that cases have already been described when patients fell ill after vaccination - not because of it, but during subsequent infection. Such cases are rare, experts said, and usually occur in those who have not completed the full course of vaccination, as well as in those who did not follow the precautions.
“At the same time, people who get sick after vaccination carry the infection easily and have no complications”, - the message says.
The Rospotrebnadzor added that there is no evidence that any vaccine, including the anticoid vaccine, affects a person's ability to have children.
"Russian vaccines against coronavirus have passed the necessary tests to assess the effect on offspring, primarily on laboratory animals. No negative consequences have been identified", - the department assured.
On the eve of the Center. The Gamalei said that only 10% of Russians are vaccinated against the coronavirus. Professor of the Center Anatoly Altstein stated that the rate of vaccination in the country is extremely low. The expert is sure that if the situation does not change, quarantines and self-isolation will have to live for many years, since new waves of coronavirus will come, which will take the lives of many people.
