During the pandemic, students from Russian universities showed miracles of ingenuity, but overall their academic performance only improved.

Honor has found out what difficulties students faced when switching to distance learning. It is clear that young people switched to the new format much easier than people of the older generation, in addition, many even improved their academic performance - this was stated by 25% of the 500 students who participated in the survey.

True, 63% of students admitted that they created the appearance of their readiness for classes. So, 71% of girls cleaned only the part of the room that is visible in the frame, and 69%, going live, put on only the upper part of their clothes.

29% of guys imitated cleaning the room with special backgrounds and screensavers. 68% of young people were distracted by social media.

41% of them prevented them from concentrating on their studies by friends, and 35% - interesting videos.

53% felt anxious about the ban on mass events and the inability to attend parties and concerts.

14% experienced limitations in daily social activity.

About a third were afraid that due to technical overlaps in the operation of laptops, their secrets would be revealed to outsiders.

61% of students contacted the teacher from unexpected places: 25% studied directly in public transport or a car, 23% on the street, and 22% in cafes and restaurants. 12% did not hesitate to get in touch from the toilet.

Most often they experimented with the girls' places.

Free time, which used to be spent on the road, allowed girls to meet with friends more often - 17%, to do house cleaning - 24%, while guys spent it on computer games - 19%, or a game console - 10%.

During the pandemic, 20% of young couples got tired of each other, 20%, on the contrary, improved their relationships.

59% of couples have not changed their relationship to each other.

It's funny that 8 out of 10 students turned off their cameras and walked away from the computer during the lecture, and 4 out of 10 forgot to return to it.

43% sometimes fell asleep in front of the screen, and 11% did it often.

71% admitted that it is easier to pass exams in a distance format.

25% said their academic performance had improved.
