According to the decision of the Ufa District Court, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation must pay 2.5 million rubles to Galinur, Gulsima and Gulnaz Sirazev for the death of their relative Ildar Sirazev in 2019. Initially, the Sirazevs asked for moral compensation in the amount of 3 million rubles.

Ildar Sirazev was drafted into the army from the Ufa region. He ended up in military unit No. 28331 of the Sverdlovsk region. In July of the same year, he died at the Aduy training ground due to an electric shock from the body of the Ural 4320 command vehicle.

The Yekaterinburg garrison military court found Sergeant Nikolay Bogdanov guilty. He was sentenced to doom for years conditionally under the article on negligence, which caused death by negligence. Moreover, later colleagues of the deceased said that they regularly received electric shocks from car bodies, but the heads of the military unit did not take any measures.

The Sirazevs went to court in 2020, indicating in their statement of claim that they had suffered great mental suffering and “lost the right to a dignified old age”.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense did not appear in court, but asked to dismiss the claim, stating that the agency's guilt in the incident had not been proven, and “the presence of the fact of family ties in itself is not a sufficient basis for compensation for moral damage”.

Kommersant clarified that the Sirazevs are going to spend compensation on an expensive operation for their daughter, who is a disabled person of the third group.

Earlier, Novye Izvestia wrote about gross violations of safety regulations, as a result of which another soldier, Private Alexey Grigoriyev, died from an electric shock.
