"Nighttime temperatures, starting from Monday, will already be two-digit - 10-13 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, when daytime temperatures are close to 25 degrees, night temperatures [are] above 10 degrees, a noticeable heating of the water surface begins. It can be expected that in the second half of the week the water temperature in the Moscow River will warm up and the swimming season will already begin", - TASS quotes the words of the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
Vilfand pointed out that today the water in the Moscow River has warmed up only to 16 degrees, but by the weekend the temperature will rise to 22 degrees. This is considered optimal for the opening of the swimming season.
It's worth reminding that the swimming season in the Black Sea will begin in mid-June, warned Vilfand - at this time the water temperature will reach the same 22 degrees.
