A resident of Sochi shot two bailiffs who came to evict him from the house

The incident took place at about half past ten in the morning on the street of Enlightenment. Two bailiffs raided the 60-year-old resident of the city with a court order to demolish an illegal building he had erected. Together with them was the third person involved in the demolition of this building. He was wounded during the shootout, informes TASS.

Police and investigators went to the scene. According to the ministry, the shooter, 60-year-old Vartan Kochiyan, surrendered himself to the police. The names of the dead are Andronic Makivasyan and Albert Aghazyan, writes Baza.

After the murder of two people, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under two articles: encroachment on the life of a person administering justice, and also under the article on attempted murder of two or more persons.
