"I want to come to an agreement with the new administration, excuse me, in terms of the rules. Either we work together and develop the International Space Station (ISS) together, or we get a precise answer", - Rogozin said on the Soloviev Live YouTube channel.
He added that he plans to speak with NASA chief Bill Nelson via video link June 15-16. At this time, the international GLEX conference will be held. During the conversation, Rogozin intends to "set the record straight", he said.
It's worth reminding that in December last year, the US Department of Commerce first imposed sanctions on the Progress Rocket and Space Center and the head scientific institute of the TsNIIMash state corporation. Then Rogozin said that he intends to seek a revision of these sanctions through the head of NASA. If the sanctions are lifted, Russia will remain in the ISS project after 2025, if not, it will build its own station. The first component of the new Russian space station will be ready for launch in 2025. Work on it has been underway since 2012.
