A resident of France with the words "Down with Macron" hit the French President Emmanuel Macron on the cheek. The incident took place during the president's trip to the southeast of the country.

According to BFM TV, during his visit to the region, Macron approached a crowd of people to shake hands with them. At that moment, greeting the president by the hand with one hand, the second local hit the president in the face.

After that, the guards ran up to the attacker of the president, Macron was taken aside.

Let us remind you that this is not the first case of an attack on the French president. In 2011, a bully attacked President Nicolas Sarkozy during a visit to the southwestern city of Brax. The President was walking along the fence when one of the local residents extended his hand to him, as if intending to say hello to him. But instead, the bully grabbed the president's jacket and jerked him sharply. A resident of France was then detained.
