Ex-director of FBK* Ivan Zhdanov put on the wanted list

Ivan Zhdanov posted on social networks the Interior Ministry's orientation towards himself. It says that the lawyer was put on the wanted list under a certain article of the Criminal Code.

“This is the situation here. Less than 2 days after the FBK was recognized as an extremist organization, I was put on the wanted list. And the photo in the search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is not very good at all. I don't even know where they got it from. And how can I replace it now? Let us now call them something, demand a replacement. In the second photo I look much more like a bandit, I suggest it”, - said the lawyer.

He added that he did not know what the search was connected with.

“Probably with a dozen criminal cases that were brought against me. Dealing with which one is definitely difficult. Just now, my lawyer Vladimir Voronin was not admitted to the case against me under Article 239 of the Criminal Code. We will seek his participation in the court. Modern politicians, Navalny's associates, are either on the wanted list or in prison. This is understandable”, - said Ivan Zhdanov.

He explained that this is because the main opposition politician, Alexey Navalny, is still being held in prison in Russia.

Earlier it became known about the arrest of Ivan Zhdanov's father and about the torture over him. As 67-year-old arrested Yuri Zhdanov said, in the pre-trial detention center he cannot sleep properly, as he sits in an overcrowded cell of the isolation ward, where people are forced to sleep in shifts. Similar conditions of torture were created in Stalin's camps.

Yuri Zhdanov was arrested in a criminal case of alleged abuse of office (part 1 of article 281 of the Criminal Code). At the same time, his son, lawyer Ivan Zhdanov, is convinced that his father was “set up” in order to put pressure on the family, namely, to stop the political and human rights activities of Ivan Zhdanov, who managed to get evidence of numerous falsifications during the check on the attempt on the life of Alexey Navalny.

Companions policy are convinced that the attempt to use the bulk chemical warfare agent Newbie was organized by the FSB. They believe that the government department has a special department for the organization and execution of extrajudicial executions and political assassinations.

* On June 9, the Moscow City Court, at the suit of the prosecutor's office, recognized the FBK as an extremist organization, banning its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. Earlier, by the decision of the Ministry of Justice, FBK, along with other organizations, the politician of Alexey Navalny was included in the register of NGOs performing the functions of a foreign agent.
