The site collapsed the day before, on the Day of Russia. The incident was reported by the head of the Vishtynetsk environmental museum, Aleksey Sokolov.
At the time of the incident, there were 27 tourists at the scene. All of them received medical assistance.
The Investigative Committee for the region indicated that a full range of verification measures is underway, aimed at establishing in detail the circumstances of the incident.
A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the audit.
Also, the regional prosecutor's office began checking.
According to Sokolov, the collapse happened due to problems with the supporting structures. After the incident, it was decided to dismantle the site.
