Rosstat told who is entitled to get the largest pension

As for the largest pension in Russia, as of January 1, 2016, its size was 446 thousand rubles, and it relied on cosmonauts, the head of the Pensopathology.ru project Yevgeny Biesbardis told the Prime agency.

He specified that cosmonauts and test pilots can receive not only a state pension, but also an insurance pension for old age. Military pensioners can also receive two pensions. The first is from the federal budget through law enforcement agencies, and the second is the employer's deductions to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, if, after retirement due to seniority, the pensioner worked in a position not related to military service.

The old-age insurance pension, which the majority of Russian pensioners receive, depends on the maximum number of pension coefficients accumulated during work. Over the past year, it was possible to accumulate a maximum of 9.57 coefficients. There are also allowances to the insurance pension, for example, an additional payment up to the minimum subsistence level of a pensioner. The average size of an old-age insurance pension is now, according to the Accounting Chamber, 17.5 thousand rubles.

"If you retire five years later, the increase will be 40%, and if for the maximum ten years, then payments will increase 2 times. Additional coefficients also appear for socially significant activities, for example, caring for a disabled person", - said the expert, adding that for outstanding services and achievements one can receive additional material support, as a rule, these are heroes of the USSR, heroes of labor, holders of orders of various degrees, laureates state awards and champions of the Olympics. Such payments range from 250% to 415% of the social pension

It's worth reminding that the trade unions continue to insist on the indexation of pensions for working pensioners. FNPR Chairman Mikhail Shmakov sent a corresponding letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Also note that since April 1 this year, the size of social pensions has grown by 3.4%.
