Goznak will release an application for biometric identification of dogs

According to Trachuk, identification of other animals will not yet be possible. Dogs can also be recognized by the pattern of the nose and head. The app will be available on the App Store and Google Play for dog owners, breeders and veterinarians. A digital profile of a pet can be created by photographing an animal through the service.

It is assumed that Goznak (State Administration for the Issue of Bank Notes) will monetize the application through related services - in particular, the placement of advertisements for veterinarians and groomers, and further offers for the sale of food and clothing for dogs. At the same time, announcements about the loss of pets will be free.
