“I tested positive for COVID-19... My condition is satisfactory", - Uyba said today on his VKontakte page.

He clarified that he is being treated at the republican infectious diseases hospital.

"I was vaccinated with "Sputnik V" in February of this year, received a fairly high titer of antibodies, and now a second infection. I want to say that if there were no vaccinations, then with the level of microbial contamination that I now have according to the results of PCR, this disease would be very severe", - said Uyba, adding that the infection behaves "unpredictably" and "It is imperative to be vaccinated".

"If after vaccination you get sick, then you will get sick easily, the disease will proceed without serious complications", - the official explained.
