Officials attribute the shortage of the drug to a sharp rise in demand for vaccinations. It turned out that the region is not ready for such a surge in interest in vaccinations against COVID-19. Today, about 80 people in one of the shopping centers will be vaccinated with the first component of the drug. In the other - 20.

- These are the remains of the vaccine. The second components are in sufficient quantity, ”the ministry said.

The department assured that another 15 thousand doses of the vaccine will be delivered in the next two days. In connection with the resulting pause, the work schedule of the vaccination rooms will be changed, and those who wish will be offered to vaccinate until midnight or even around the clock.

Recall that in the Khabarovsk Territory, covid restrictions, recently canceled by the regional government, are being reintroduced. Additional beds are being deployed in the region, hospitals in Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur will again be converted into covid hospitals.

It is obvious that the region is unable to cope with the increase in the number of infected. Over the past day, 138 new cases of the disease were registered in the region. 96 recovered from hospitals were discharged. Three people died. In total, 464 deaths have been recorded in the Khabarovsk Territory since the beginning of the pandemic. The authorities in the region were forced to return to the covid restrictions that were recently lifted.
