According to TASS, referring to his source in law enforcement, Kravchenko is the head of the sixth department of the FSB aviation department, Sokhin is his deputy, Romanov is one of the officers of this unit. The interlocutor of the publication drowned that all three were charged under an article of large-scale fraud.

Kommersant points out that we are talking about the theft of 63 million 499 thousand rubles, which were stolen during the conclusion of contracts in 2017-2019 between the aviation department of the FSB and the Stavropol company LLC AsStroy, which was engaged in the supply of machinery and equipment to units of the border troops in Stavropol.

As part of the state defense order, the company was to install in Vorkuta a collapsible warehouse complex for storing aviation technical property for aircraft that were used for the needs of the FSB aviation. The company did not fulfill its obligations.

Vazgen Babakhanyan is also involved in this case - he, as the newspaper points out, was in charge of the company, despite the fact that Gayane Babakhanyan is officially its head.

The case was initiated on July 14, 2020 by investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Komi Republic. Vazganyan became the main defendant, who was immediately arrested, and a week later the military investigative department of the TFR for the Vorkuta garrison began to investigate the same facts, but in connection with abuse of office. At the beginning of this year, the cases were combined into one proceeding. Both the entrepreneur and the officers deny their guilt, stating that all obligations under the state contract were fulfilled in due time.
