However, none of the Russian vaccines are suitable for this: the Austrian authorities are ready to accept visitors who have been vaccinated by BioNtech / Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Covishield or Sinopharm.
As specified in the Austrian embassy in Moscow, in order to enter the country, Russians will have to present "confirmation of a low epidemiological risk". This can be a certificate of recovery, a negative test for coronavirus, or a certificate of vaccination. However, for quarantine-free entry, at least two weeks must elapse between the last vaccination and the date of the border crossing.
In addition to Russia, China, Turkey, Bosnia and Kosovo were also excluded from the list of "dangerous" countries.

Previously, the EU allowed those who had been vaccinated with one of the EU-approved vaccines to enter European countries from third countries. The Russian Sputnik V vaccine has yet to be approved.
