The source of "Interfax" notes that the hostage-taker sought help from a psychiatrist and took medication. According to Life, no explosives were found on the detainee. There was a thermos in his backpack. An Interfax source says that a fake explosive was found in the detainee's backpack.

Earlier it was reported that an unknown person took hostages at a bank branch on Chervishevsky tract street, demanding the issuance of 15 million rubles.

The security forces took the bank's office by storm.
