Alexey Rudko (pictured), director of the territorial fund of compulsory medical insurance of the Tomsk region, was detained today by law enforcement officers. He is charged with an article on abuse of office with the infliction of grave consequences.
This is reported by the sources of Interfax. One of them clarified that the official had already been arrested and fully admitted his guilt, but there was no official confirmation at the moment.
It is clarified that the detention took place on July 2, but this became known only on July 6.
Rudko has been the head of the Tomsk region Compulsory Health Insurance fund since the beginning of 2018. Prior to that, he headed the private medical center "Health Harmony".
