Today, the employer deducts 22% of the employee's salary to the pension fund until the accumulated total reaches 1.46 million rubles, and after that, the amount of deductions is reduced to 10%. The ministry intends to increase this limit. This will oblige employers to make deductions longer at the regular rate, rather than at a reduced rate.
So the department is going to bring another 16 billion rubles to the country's budget next year, and 45 billion rubles by 2024.
The Ministry of Finance also proposes to increase property tax with a total value of over 500 million rubles, Forbes reports. Now the tax at a rate of 0.1% is charged on houses, apartments, garages and small outbuildings, the increased rate will be 2% and will be applied for objects whose cadastral value individually exceeds 300 million rubles, and the rate of 0.5% is proposed to be applied only for non-residential premises. This will add 50 billion rubles to the treasury.
Earlier in Russia it was decided to toughen the punishment for the payment of the so-called "gray wages". According to the Ministry of Finance, currently about 30-40% of Russians receive an unofficial salary. The volume of the gray wage fund in Russia exceeds 10 trillion rubles annually.
