An opposition politician from Lipetsk wanted to take part in the by-election to the local Duma, but the police did not even allow him to register the collected signatures.

An excellent video illustration of the so-called free expression of the will of the Russian people was posted on his blog by politician Dmitry Gudkov. On it, Dmitry Krasichkov, a resident of Lipetsk, decided to take the signatures he collected to the local electoral commission to participate in the by-elections to the city duma.

but nothing of the kind! A local police officer and an anti-extremism officer grabbed him at the door, dragged him into a car, and took him to court without even bothering to say what he was suspected of. Well, the signatures, of course, were taken away.

It is known that Krasichkov last year won the elections in his constituency, but that is why the authorities canceled the voting results, and now they do not even allow him to take part in the elections...
