Coronavirus vaccination of adolescents to begin before September 20

Vaccination of adolescents should start before September 20, said the head of the Gamaleya center Alexander Gintsburg.

He told RIA Novosti that out of 21 teenagers who received the vaccine, two of them had a temperature rise to 37.

- This is a normal reaction, saying that, excuse me, they do not inject saline, but the vaccine. If not to measure, then they probably would not have noticed, - said Gintsburg.

He clarified that it is planned to start vaccination of adolescents by September 20, 2021, and now everything is being done for this. The expert recalled that recently the number of children with a more severe course of the disease has increased than before. He stressed that they need to be protected.

Meanwhile, Russia has once again climbed to fourth place in the world ranking of countries in terms of the number of coronavirus cases, overtaking France.
