WHO advised nursing mothers to get vaccinated against covid

"A number of short-term studies suggest that there is no risk to children due to immunization of nursing mothers. In addition, the first limited data suggest that protection from the vaccine can be transmitted from mother to child", - said the WHO experts, adding that "it is not recommended to stop breastfeeding because of vaccination".

It's worth to note that the WHO group recommended that pregnant women and children with comorbid conditions be included in one of the priority groups for immunization against covid. The organization recalled that "Pregnant women are at greater risk of severe infection".

We also recall that at the end of last year, doctors said that vaccination was prohibited in the presence of chronic diseases, pregnant and lactating women who had ARVI for two weeks before vaccination, as well as those who had been vaccinated within a month before vaccination against coronavirus.
