Secondly, in fact, this is begging for money for Putin's existence after the enchanting failure with the Su-57, which exists in the Russian Armed Forces in a single "serial" copy, the second "first serial" (the first "first serial" crashed during tests in 2019 ) delivered at the end of 2020 without standard engines, bashfully called "second stage engines", which in fact were supposed to provide one of the necessary parameters of the "5th generation" (supersonic flight not in afterburner mode). Those. failing to make a 5th generation aircraft for the RF Armed Forces (they made an extremely expensive 4 +++ level craft), the UAC asks for a new development of 1-2 trillion rubles "for the first time", which will result in 3-4-5-6 trillion rubles for the entire project, regardless of its success. "The ones that were last week, we ate a long time ago."

Thirdly, this aircraft also lacks an engine that would provide the parameters of a "5th generation" aircraft (supersonic flight not in afterburner mode), as well as for the Su-57. Talk about the appearance of this engine in the series is already about 2027, if by that time there will be someone to do it. Cadres are dying of old age.

Fourth, the declared absolutely unrealistic cost of the aircraft for the foreign market ($ 25-30 million) versus $ 150 million for the F-35 Lightning II, and on a smaller (300 units) series than the F-35. This is taking into account the lack of an engine, composite materials, domestic modern microelectronics for aircraft avionics and technological sanctions.

Fifthly, this is another example of the Russian cargo cult, we have learned how to make world-class presentations, we have forgotten how to get workable results with the stated performance characteristics. Outwardly, everything is like the present, but in fact - from "branches".
