In the first half of 2021, sales of simple push-button phones increased in Russia, although over the course of several years the indicator has been steadily declining. According to experts, remote workers began to replace stationary devices with such phones.

During the first six months of 2021, 3.1 million push-button phones were sold in the country, which is 6.7% more than in the same period last year, Kommersant reports.

In monetary terms, the difference is even higher - 18.8% - up to 4.5 billion rubles. The average price of such a phone has also grown - now it is 1.45 thousand rubles, having added 11%. In the second quarter, growth was 26% in pieces and 35% in money. As analysts of the Price.ru price comparison service clarify, the leaders of the manufacturers are Nokia, Phillips, teXtel, Itel and BQ mobile.

The push-button telephone market has been falling 5-10% per year over the past few years. Experts point to problems with the supply of push-button phones, which began last year, resulting in a slight shortage. Because of this, the price of these devices increased - by 20% -30%.
