The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow fined the mother of many children, Valentina Muzhenskaya, four thousand rubles, who was dragged out of the MFC by the police for refusing to wear a mask.

As reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the court, Muzenskaya was found guilty of disobeying a police officer (part 1 of article 19.3 of the Administrative Code).

According to Mediazona, on June 25, at the MFC Khoroshevsky District, a visitor Muzhenska felt nauseous and pulled off her mask.

The Multifunctional Public Services Center employees did not like this, and they called the police. They applied brute physical force to Muzhenskaya, dragging her out of the building to the service car so that her legs were torn into blood on the asphalt, and abrasions and bruises appeared on her arms and legs, which were later recorded by doctors.

Muzenskaya begged to let her go, saying that her daughter was waiting in the car (as it turned out later, a minor), and then was dragged along the asphalt when she lost consciousness. Those who were at the Multifunctional Public Services Center asked to release Muzhenskaya, indicated that she had lost consciousness, but law enforcement officers dragged her out of the building and put her on the asphalt, holding her by her hair.

In their defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that Muzhenskaya allegedly "behaved inappropriately", and allegedly hit one police officer on the leg, and bit the other.

On the basis of complaints from police officers against the victim, a criminal case was opened on the use of violence against police officers (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). However, then, when a video of what was happening on the Internet appeared, a wave of public outrage arose in the country.

Users began to compare security officials who use brute force against a defenseless woman with "uniform sadists". The All-Russian Women's Union "Hope of Russia" appealed to the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to cancel the decision to initiate a criminal case, as well as to consider the issue of the responsibility of the police, who, according to the organization, "violated both the spirit and the letter of the law".

After that, the criminal case against Muzenskaya was dropped. Nevertheless, she was subjected to administrative punishment.
