Smoke from Yakut fires reached Irkutsk

19 cities and towns of the Irkutsk region, including the regional capital, were in the smoke zone. Smoke came to the region from Yakutia, which was engulfed in wildfires.
“According to the stationary observation points of Irkutsk meteorologists, no cases of high air pollution and exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations of carbon monoxide have been recorded”, - the Irkutsk administration reported.
It's worth reminding that since June 23, an emergency regime has been in effect in Yakutia. The damage from fires exceeds 1 billion rubles, while it is difficult to identify the culprits of forest fires, since most fires "occur in conditions of non-obviousness".
