According to Interfax , citing data from the capital's meteorological office, the monthly norm for August in Moscow is 77 mm.

“The city received about a quarter of the monthly rainfall in a few hours. The data were received at 6:00 from the main meteorological station at VDNKh, ”the message says.

More than 30 flights had to be canceled at three airports of the capital's air hub due to downpours and thunderstorms accompanied by a squally wind. There is no data on the victims yet.
