REN TV: Lyubov Sobol left Russia

It happened week after she was sentenced to one year and six months of restriction of freedom in the case of violating sanitary standards on unauthorized promotions.

This was announced by the REN TV channel with reference to its source, "familiar with the situation." According to the source, Sobol flew to Istanbul from Vnukovo on the evening of August 7. In Istanbul, the source claims, Sobol will make a transplant. The destination of her journey is unknown.

Confirmation (or denial) of this information from Sobol has not yet followed.

REN TV recalls that, according to the verdict, she, among other restrictive measures, is prohibited from leaving Moscow and the Moscow region. Sable is also prohibited from leaving the home from 22:00 to 6:00, to attend public events. She must also appear at the FSIN inspection three times a month.

Recall that after the January protests in support of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, activists were accused of violating sanitary and epidemiological norms. Navalny was detained on January 17 after returning to Russia. On February 2, the Simonovsky court ruled to cancel Navalny's suspended sentence and replace him with 3.5 years in a general regime colony. The reason for replacing the suspended sentence with a real one was numerous violations of the conditions of the probationary period.
