MiG-29 crashed in the Astrakhan region

According to Interfax, referring to its source, the MiG-29 was performing a training flight. According to preliminary data, the cause of the crash was the failure of equipment.

According to the Southern Military District, the fighter fell in a deserted place on the territory of the Ashuluk training ground, the flight was carried out without ammunition. At present, a commission of the main command of the Aerospace Forces has been sent to the crash site.

Recall that on August 17, during a test flight , a prototype of the Il-112V crashed. The board fell in the forest near the village of Nikolskoye, Odintsovo district, Moscow region. The plane did not reach the runway in Kubinka just over a kilometer.
