The athlete of the Georgian men's national judo team, who arrived in Tokyo to participate in the Paralympic Games, Zviad Gogochuri (pictured), was deprived of his accreditation after being arrested for inflicting grievous bodily harm on a hotel security guard.

Let us remind you that several Georgian "collections" were drinking noisily in their room after midnight, and the hotel guard knocked on them with a request to be quiet. In response, the judoka attacked a 60-year-old guard, knocking him to the floor and breaking his rib. A complaint was filed with the Tokyo police.

The judoka admitted his guilt. Other members of the national team received a warning.

The Paralympic Games will begin on 24 August.

Gogochuri is a gold medalist at the 2016 Paralympics.

Note that earlier, two Georgian judokas had already been sent home from the Olympic Games in Tokyo for violating the antiquated regime.
