According to the Governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, on his Telegram channel, 82 people from those remaining at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport will fly to Moscow on a later flight. “15 [people] handed over their tickets, 3 - flew through Khabarovsk, 18 people are leaving tomorrow. Of these, 10 are accommodated in a hotel and provided with food, 8 people are local residents, abandoned the hotel and went home”, - he added.
The Sakhalin.Info newspaper writes that the incident occurred due to an aircraft breakdown. According to preliminary information, there was a problem with the escape ladder. The airline has no comments yet.
