By the end of the week, abnormal heat is expected in Western Siberia, the Volga region and the Urals. The air temperature will exceed 30 degrees Celsius, and in some places heat up to 40 degrees is predicted.

As the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand told reporters, "colossal heat" with an average daily air temperature of 6-11 degrees above normal is expected in the Ural, Volga and Siberian federal districts.

“Unusually high temperatures are observed in the Volga region and the Urals, this situation will continue. During all working days in the Volga Federal District the temperature will be higher than normal by 6-9 degrees, but in the Urals Federal District and in the south of Western Siberia, in the Tyumen, Omsk regions - by 8-11 degrees", - quoted by Vilfand TASS.

It will be especially hot in Bashkortostan - up to 38-40 degrees Celsius. The air in the Sverdlovsk and Kurgan regions will warm up to 36 degrees, in the Omsk region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug it is expected to be up to 33 degrees.

Earlier it was reported that in a number of regions, hot dry weather has already provoked forest fires.

In mid-August, 837 people, including 750 children, were evacuated from the Mountain Gorge camp in Bashkiria. This is due to a one-hectare natural fire that occurred a kilometer from the institution.

The fire broke out in the village of Zelenaya Polyana. Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident. Children and adults who were in the Gornoe Gorge camp will be sent to the Uralskie Zori children's camp, located 5.5 kilometers away.

On the eve of the Samara region, the Buzuluk Bor national park caught fire. The area of the fire reached 100 hectares, threatening to burn down the settlements of Borskoye and Nemchanka.

The fire spread quickly due to unfavorable weather conditions, namely abnormal heat (40 degrees) and strong winds, the gusts of which reach up to 20 m / s. The fire spread from the settlement of Guards of the Borsky district. The work to eliminate the fire was headed by the head of the national park. An operational headquarters was deployed at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, forces and means were transferred to an emergency situation.

Earlier, an emergency was announced in Yakutia in connection with an unprecedented rampant fire element that destroyed over 4 million hectares of forest. Officials also blame the unusually warm weather for the emergency. At the same time, local residents criticized the actions of officials for insufficient activity in extinguishing fires.
