All the political, economic, social and ethical troubles of modern Russia are due to the fact that there are too many loafers in it.

Vladimir Semenikhin

Speaking at the youth forum "Territory of Meanings", the Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, expressed the idea that the moral decay of society is the main threat to the country coming from within. I agree. But we understand the threat in different ways.

Sergei Shoigu sees a threat in the activities of the opposition, which the authorities have declared as foreign agents and banned. And I see a threat in the criminal structure of modern Russian society, which has led to the impoverishment of the people and the destruction of the country's economy. Our neighbors Finland and South Korea, like the Russian Federation, are countries with presidential rule and free market economies. But the standard of living of the people there is four times higher. Why? After all, Russia is richer than these countries in the gifts of nature, and the people are hard-working and no less talented.

To understand the reason, let's compare the structure of society in today's Russia with the structure of Tsarist Russia at the beginning of the twentieth century. At the time, Russia was mainly an agricultural country. Peasants made up 75% of the 165 million population. The industry and transport employed only 11% or 18 million people in quantitative terms. In trade, healthcare, science and other non-production areas - 10%. The state apparatus of the Empire employed 4% of the population. This also included the army and the police. Four percent of the 165 million is 6.6 million. The productive sector of the Russian Empire employed 85% of the population. Therefore, even with low labor productivity, consumer products were in abundance. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Russia was rapidly developing: shipbuilding, aircraft, steam locomotive and other industries. Every year, about two thousand kilometers of railways were put into operation! Agriculture was also on the rise. The state financially helped the peasants to acquire the necessary allotment of land, for which it issued the necessary laws and established a land bank. Encouraged cooperation. In a cooperative bank, peasants took out loans for the purchase of horses and livestock, agricultural implements. Therefore, Russia was the world's second largest exporter of grain after the United States and the second largest exporter of animal oil in Europe after Denmark. The standard of living was two to three times higher than now in the Russian Federation.

Now let's look at the structure of society in the Russian Federation and find out what part of the people are employed today in the productive sector. According to statistics, there are 146 million people in the country. Of these, 72 million are employed: 37 million men and 35 million women.

There are 12 million employees in science, education and health care. In the field of culture, law and communications - 4 million.

In the field of trade and security - 14 million. There are 14.5 million various officials and managers.

The army, private private security companies, the National Guard, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other power and law enforcement state structures have 10 million employees. It remains to find out how many people are employed in productive labor? Subtract from seventy-two million (12 + 4 + 14 + 14.5 + 10 = 54.5 ) and get 17.5 million. Of these, 2.5 million people work in agriculture, fisheries and forestry (they must feed the country). Consequently, 15 million are employed in various industries, construction and transport. Very little for our country. These 17.5 million workers support themselves and another 128.5 million people. Truly! - One with a bipod and seven with a spoon.

In tsarist Russia, the proportion was reversed.

The question arises, how, with one worker per square kilometer of territory, it is possible to develop the country and why, with such a tiny workforce, there are 8 million unemployed in the country? And yet, according to unofficial data, there are 4 million homeless people in the country. They are also unemployed, but statistics do not take them into account. The homeless are the result of the activities of microfinance banks, collectors and other bandits, the number of which cannot be counted. Crime is in the hundreds of thousands, but it has not been singled out as a separate group. Homeless people and bandits are a lost labor force and a shame on the state.

In the structure of Russian society, the dominant position was taken by officials, security officials and criminals. With a population of 146 million, pensioners - 45 million, children - 33 million. This is more than half of the population. There are many fewer children than old people.

An alarming fact. Apparently, many parents do not have the financial ability to raise more than one or two children. Of the 72 million who are employed, only 17.5 million work in the sphere of material production. Due to the lack of jobs, there are 8 million unemployed in the country! It has already been said about the homeless. The state administration and power structures employ 24.5 million people. One and a half times more than in the manufacturing sector! Can Russia survive as an economic power with such a small labor force and outdated production, when there is one producer for eight people? The answer is negative. Apparently, therefore, the Russian Federation is no longer classified as a developed economy. We have moved into the category of developing ... The World Economic Forum has introduced a new index of economic development. The main criterion now is not GDP, but income growth and the quality of life of the population. Among 78 developing countries, Russia ranks 13th.

If the rich Russians, who have seized half of the country's wealth, and the leaders of the state suddenly see their light and, instead of buying luxury yachts and private jets, start building factories, where can they get the workers? Children of officials, security officials, bankers and factory owners will not go to work. This problem is not only economic, but also moral. The prestige of a worker, doctor, and educator has been undermined by insultingly low wages. Working professions have lost their attractiveness. But, the worker is a producer of material goods, without which a person cannot exist physically. Food, clothes, houses, roads, transport, water supply system, sewage system, electricity, the Internet are the material base of life and workers create it! Officials are needed only to coordinate the economic systems, accounting and distribution of products that the workers create. Their number, with modern technical equipment, should be ten times less than now. In his work "State and Revolution" Lenin wrote that the earnings of a worker should be higher than the earnings of an official. In all fairness, the earnings of a minister should be more than the earnings of a worker of the highest qualifications, but no more than three to four times. This should be the benchmark for determining all official salaries. Only fairness in wages will improve the moral atmosphere in society, and the professions of a worker and teacher will again take a worthy place in the rating of the attractiveness of professions.

The country has outdated infrastructure, there is not enough housing and roads. We need an army of builders, specialists in these professions. Even if money appears, they buy equipment and materials, where can they find twenty million workers? Who will build houses, bridges and roads? Collectors? Usurers? Officials? Fighters of private security companies and the National Guard without professions and work experience? Today, the state, having killed its workers, hires migrants to patch up the holes. Such a state has a bad prospect.

The current social structure of the state has given rise to a totalitarian form of its organization, because officials, security officials and the new bourgeoisie want to preserve their privileges. Such an imbalance in the structure of society crippled the morality of a large part of the people. The rich look at the poor with disdain, and the poor look at the rich with hatred.

The overgrown army of bureaucrats and security officials is devouring budget money that should go to the development of production and has turned Russia into a poor totalitarian state. The democratic freedoms granted to the people by the Tsar's Manifesto of February 17, 1905, were canceled in 2020 and 2021, by the laws of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

And the people want to build a prosperous country, live freely, without crime, participate in governing the country, work and receive a fair salary, which can support a family and raise children.

The hope for a cure of Russia from obese idlers among the people is alive.
