As the regional governor Vladimir Solodov said on his Instagram, the commission "thoroughly checks the airline and must make sure that all the necessary measures to ensure 100% safety of passengers have been taken." According to the governor, after checking the Federal Air Transport Agency, it will already be possible to designate the timing of the resumption of flights.
At present, the situation with flights within the peninsula is rather complicated, first of all, due to the temporary stoppage of the Vityaz-Aero operation. In addition, the deteriorated weather is an unfavorable factor today.
"Unfortunately, last week it was not possible to carry out flights for several days at a number of key airports, such as Tilichiki and Ossora. In this regard, on my instructions, with the airports of Kamchatka, the possibility of flights on weekends has been worked out", - said Solodov.
It's worth reminding that the helicopter Mi-8 of the Vityaz-Aero airline with 13 passengers on board, including a child, and three crew members on board crashed to Kuril Lake on 12 August. The plane carried tourists from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Eight of them survived the crash.
