Residents of Moscow can become immune plasma donors within six months after revaccination with the Russian drug for coronavrius Sputnik Light. Previously, plasma was harvested only from those vaccinated with Sputnik V.

According to Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, it is within six months after vaccination that one can count on the required level of neutralizing antibodies.

Plasma from those vaccinated by "Sputnik V" is also being taken - anyone who has received the second component of the drug can become a donor 30 days after vaccination.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that clinical trials of the effectiveness of convalescent plasma did not live up to expectations.
