The Russian national football team beat the Malta team

The match within the qualification for the World Championship in Qatar ended with a score of 2: 0 in favor of the Russian team. The game took place at the Otkritie Arena stadium in Moscow.
The Russians were scored by striker Fedor Smolov in the tenth minute and midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev, who managed to realize a penalty in the 84th minute. The national team got 13 points and is on the second line in group N. The rivals of the Russian team - the national team of Malta - have four points and the fifth place in the standings.
The next match of the Russians will take place on October 8. Valeriy Karpin's wards will play with the Slovak national team at home. Malta will also meet with Slovenia.
