About 300 Russians are awaiting evacuation from Afghanistan

The director of the consular department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ivan Volynkin, said that the export flight will be organized not only for Russians, but also for their family members with foreign citizenship. This issue is currently being worked out. "The efforts of the Russian executive authorities were concentrated, first of all, on the return of Russian citizens who want to leave Afghanistan", - RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov said that more than 1,000 Afghans, including students from Russian universities, had received applications to travel to Russia. According to him, several export flights can be organized. Note that about one thousand Afghans received permission to enter Russia.

It's worth reminding that the territory of Afghanistan has been under the control of the Taliban (a terrorist movement banned in Russia) since mid-August. Recently, the Taliban announced the composition of the government - it was headed by Mullah Mohammad Hasan Ahnud.
