The student who arranged the shooting in the Perm university had a part of leg amputated

Law student Timur Bekmansurov, who was wounded during the arrest, who opened fire at the Perm State National Research University (PGNIU), is now in an extremely serious and unstable condition, the regional Ministry of Health said, adding that part of his shin had been amputated.

The Minister of Health of the Perm Territory Anastasia Kruten said that the number of people injured as a result of the shooting increased to 43 people. 12 of them are in three hospitals in Perm. Only the shooter himself is in a more difficult state, Interfax quotes the minister. The remaining 11 people are in a satisfactory condition, the head of the department specified.

Bekmansurov broke into an educational institution on Monday morning. He opened fire on students. As a result of the incident, according to the Investigative Committee, eight people died. The regional Ministry of Health claims six dead and another 24 injured as a result of the attack on the university. 19 of them received gunshot wounds.
