The Ministry of Internal Affairs will change the procedure for the departure of children abroad

She indicated that, at the request of one of the parents, travel will be limited, but the department believes that in this case it is necessary to fix this issue normatively.

"At the request of a citizen who declares that he does not allow leaving with another parent, the parent himself will be able to leave with this child so that he can have a rest, and receive medical treatment, and so on. If, nevertheless, some questions arise, then all this will be resolved in court", - quotes RIA Novosti the words of Valentina Kazakova.

It's worth reminding that in 2019, the procedure for children to leave the country was changed in Russia. Statements of disagreement with the departure of a minor citizen of Russia from that time were stopped by the border authorities. The FSB Border Service indicated that children, as a rule, leave Russia with at least one of the parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees, and in this case, consent to travel abroad from the second parent is not required.

But if a minor leaves Russia unaccompanied by parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees, he must have with him, in addition to his passport, a notarized consent from one of these persons (original) for the departure of a minor citizen of Russia.
