Under the flag of African Liberia, dry-cargo vessels (bulk carriers) of the Ultramax class now operate with names in honor of Russian musicians Viktor Tsoi ("Kino") and Yegor Letov ("Civil Defense").

Sources familiar with the history of these vessels told RBC that both vessels were built in South Korea and belong to the VTB Leasing group. Solar has received dry cargo vessels in the summer of 2021 from a lessor. They were transferred for seven years in a financial lease with the possibility of prolongation for the same period.

According to vessel tracking service VesselFinder, the Viktor Tsoi and Yegor Letov ships fly the flag of Liberia. Viktor Tsoi is currently in the Mediterranean and Egor Letov is in the Dutch port of Vlissingen.

Previously, Viktor Tsoi at SCF was named NS Yakutia, Yegor Letov - NS Energy.
