The "staples" are itching: A businessman-homophobe decided to patent the LGBT flag

Individual entrepreneur Vladislav Dyadchenko applied for registration of the LGBT flag as a trademark so that it would not be “worn anywhere”. He told about this to Gazeta.Ru.

“We have banned the propaganda of this whole story in the state. I now want to support our state, and all those who are for our spiritual staples, for their homeland. I want to register a patent, so that this crap is not worn anywhere, so that my children do not see it. Let them gather there somewhere in the basements and do with themselves what they want to, but do not take it out of that very basement".

Let us recall that Article 180 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for a penalty of up to 120,000 rubles for illegal use of someone else's trademark.

Meanwhile, a similar situation has already arisen this summer at the height of the election campaign to the State Duma. Then Rospatent approved the application of the Vulintertrade company from the Stavropol Territory (it is engaged in the procurement and processing of unwashed sheep wool and the sale of washed ones) for registration of the Smart Voting trademark, which was completely identical to the logo of Navalny's scandalous project. Moreover, this company received approval in record time: the application was submitted on June 29, and already on July 27, permission was received - despite the fact that the time for consideration of applications in Rospanent ranges from 6 to 18.5 months.

There is practically no doubt that Dyadchenko's application will be approved as soon as possible, which will be a good help to Russian homophobes in the fight for "bonds".

The network reacted almost unanimously to this news, so that fighters against LGBT people were in a clear minority:

- Brains and conscience would be him;

- This character is no longer latent homosexuality, but acute paranoid. Let's wait for the excess;

- The next step he needs to register the trademark "USA" with a flag and "European Union" with a flag. And everything will be fine then in our "state";
